SIIV is a non profit association founded in 1990 and represents the academic world in the scientific-disciplinary sector (SSD) CEAR 03/A “Roads Railways Airports” (former ICAR/04) with the statutory purpose of promoting and facilitating the dissemination of culture and scientific knowledge in the field of transport infrastructures within universities and transport community and addressing the Agencies operating in the mobility sector.

SIIV’s membership includes researchers, experts, and technicians involved in the design, construction, maintenance, and operation of roads, railways, and airports. The main purpose of association Statutes is to encourage the sharing of knowledge, experience, and ideas on industry-specific topics.
