4th International SIIV Winter School 2024 | “Green & Digital Road Management”

  The theme “Green & Digital Road Management” emphasizes the ongoing transition to pavement management strategies that combine environmental sustainability goals with a digitally oriented approach.
In this context, the behavior of sustainable and innovative materials must be studied through reliable testing methods, validated by a robust approach with specific focus on life cycle assessment (LCA).
To this end, leading experts in the field have been invited as lecturers for the 4th International SIIV Winter School 2024 to promote and share up-to-date knowledge on the topic with the aim of fostering sustainability and digital modernization of the road network and its associated pavements.
Winter School 2024 will include two panel discussions.
In the first, Road Infrastructure Management Entities will highlight the main management challenges; in the second, Executing Companies will discuss the main critical issues and opportunities arising from a green and digital approach to road management.
The roundtables represent a unique opportunity to connect the young researchers participating in the school with their potential future employers to whom they should bring added value in terms of knowledge, innovation and enthusiasm.   View the program by clicking here
