The Society
Welcome to the website of the Italian Society of Transport Infrastructures
The SIIV “Italian Society of Transport Infrastructures,” a non-profit society founded in 1990, represents the academic world in the scientific disciplinary sector (SSD) ICAR/04 “Roads Railways Airports” with the statutory purpose of promoting and facilitating the dissemination of culture and scientific knowledge in the field of road infrastructures, both within universities and addressing the entities operating in the mobility sector.
SIIV’s membership includes researchers, experts, and technicians involved in designing, constructing, maintaining, and operating roads, railways, and airports. The association’s main purpose is to encourage the sharing of knowledge, experience, and ideas on topical subjects in the field.
